Item Proposta de Implantação Paisagística e Urbanística como Revitalização e Melhoria Ambiental do Calçadão da SUFRAMA no Polo Industrial de Manaus-AM(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2017) SILVA, Francinete de Menezes da; DEUS, Ricardo Jorge AmorimThe rapid transformations and dynamics of the contemporary world require a new look and new approaches to the act of implanting, designing, and revitalizing city spaces. This dissertation was based on the addition of configurations of the urban landscape, based on a perceptive concept of the Industrial Pole of Manaus (PIM), focusing on a public space called SUFRAMA's Boardwalk, which contemplates the left side of BR 319 because it is a notorious place located within the city of Manaus. It was built with the purpose of serving the industrial community and its surroundings. Throughout its extension, various sports and leisure activities are developed, but its present state is degraded and abandoned, lacking in improvements. Thus, with the objective of revitalizing this public space, a proposal for a landscape, urban, and sustainable implantation was consolidated. In this process, methods were started with research and studies elaborating a field survey and recognition of the current situation of the area with infrastructure analysis, site topography, spatial and functional zoning, climate, soil, plants, characteristics of the landscape and afforestation, the circulation flows and accesses, to then happen to the proposal of landscape implantation and urban recovery through the application of techniques such as urban arborization, rain gardens, green sidewalks, among others. Thus, it is hoped to extract some fruit from this proposal of urban, landscape, and environmental recovery to open opportunities for verification and effectiveness of the results of a perceptive approach in the analysis of the urban problems of SUFRAMA's BoardwalkItem Geomorfologia Urbana por Meio de Plataforma SIG: Monitoramento do Processo Erosivo Acelerado (Voçoroca) no Geossítio do Cemitério Arqueológico Indígena de Manaus(Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais, 2017) NASCIMENTO, Márcio de Jesus Lima do; DEUS, Ricardo Jorge Amorim deThe document presents a study on anthropogenic impacts and monitoring of the accelerated erosion process at the Manaus Indigenous Archaeological Cemetery Geosite, using a GIS platform for geospatial analysis. The research aims to identify erosion processes, suggest mitigation measures and propose solutions for preserving the region's archaeological and environmental heritage.Item Análise da Aplicação da Metodologia PDCA nas Escolas Municipais Rurais de Manaus Visando ao Melhor Desempenho dos Alunos no IDEB(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2016) HENCHEN, Anne Kellyn; BRASIL, Davi do Socorro BarrosThe research analyzed the application of the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) methodology in six rural municipal schools in Manaus, aiming to improve student performance in the Basic Education Development Index (IDEB). The study focused on the environmental conditions of the schools and their influence on the teaching-learning process, using environmental diagnostic tools from the Áquila Institute. The results indicated that schools with adequate infrastructure performed better in external assessments, such as the Prova Brasil and the Student Performance Assessment (ADE). The research concluded that it is necessary to meet goal 7.18 of the National Education Plan to ensure an adequate school environment, especially in rural areas.Item Educação Ambiental na Saúde e seus Resíduos Sólidos: Uma Prática Interdisciplinar(Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais, 2020) ABREU, Luiz Claudio Santos de; LIMA, Marcelo OliveiraEnvironmental education arises from the need to portray the environment, bringing a new way of reading reality and acting on it. This study conducts a bibliographic review on the importance of environmental education in health units, focusing on the management of health service waste (RSS). The research was conducted using databases such as SciELO and VHL, identifying the need to integrate environmental education in an interdisciplinary manner into the daily routine of health professionals. It is concluded that environmental education and the correct disposal of RSS are essential to minimize environmental impacts and promote sustainability in hospital units.Item Elaboração de um Modelo Matemático para o Estudo do Comportamento de Efluentes Originados da Indústria do Petróleo(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015) SOUZA, Suellyn Siqueira de; ALVES, Rui Guilherme Cavaleiro de MacedoThe objective of this work was to develop a mathematical model to predict the future behavior of treated effluents originating from the petroleum processing industry. The model was developed by dividing the effluent treatment system into subprocesses, for which submodels were developed and then integrated to form a general model. The development of the general model involved defining the input and output variables of the system, formulating general dynamic equations, acquiring process data, estimating submodels using fuzzy identification techniques, and integrating the submodels through the neurofuzzy method. The final model allowed simulations of effluent behavior under critical conditions, contributing to environmental conservation.Item Análise dos Indicadores de Desempenho da Educação Ambiental para Efetivação dos Sistemas de Coleta dos Resíduos Sólidos do PROSAMIM Cajual(Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais, 2019) DIAS, Kleber Braga; LEITE, Jandecy CabralEnvironmental education is the main instrument of transformation, being fundamental for the development of critical opinion in relation to the environment, generating commitment of the population in environmental actions. This work analyzed the performance indicators of environmental education for the implementation of solid waste collection systems of PROSAMIM Cajual. The research was conducted through data analysis collected through bibliographic, field, and documentary research. The results showed that environmental education is compromised in what tends to increase the degradation of streams and soil, affecting the quality of life of the population.Item Incorporação Parcial de Lodo Químico como Matéria Prima na Fabricação de Tijolos(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2015) SOUZA, Márcia Regina Monteiro de; ALVES, Rui Guilherme Cavaleiro de MacedoThe residue called "chemical sludge" is generated after treatment of industrial effluents of the production process painting on metal surfaces, specifically the so-called dehydration and compaction phase through the filter press in a electronics industry located in the Industrial Pole of Manaus - PIM. Most of the time, the final destination of the waste is incineration or landfills, but as allocation alternative, the incorporation of this material in manufacturing ceramic brick has become economically viable and less harmful to the environment. This research presents a re-use alternative chemical sludge residue, in order to incorporate in the manufacture of ceramic bricks. The merger is to add 5% of the waste chemical sludge to the clay material used as raw material in the manufacture of ceramic blocks (bricks), aimed at reducing costs and environmental risks arising from the disposal of this waste; while minimizing environmental impacts from the extraction of raw materials directly from the environment. The results of this study allow us to conclude that the amount of 5% of chemical sludge incorporated in clay for the brick manufacturing does not affect the product quality, recommended its use in ceramic block.Item OS PARADIGMAS DA BIOPIRATARIA NO ESTADO DO AMAZONAS: UM ESTUDO SISTEMÁTICO DE 2012 À 2017(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2018) PIGNATA, Fabiano da Silveira; BRASIL, Davi do Socorro BarrosThis study aimed to identify environmental criminal behaviors similar to biopiracy in the State of Amazonas from 2012 to 2017.
