Item Business Intelligence as an Integration Tool for Fault Detection of the Board Assembly Process(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) CAMPOS, Paola Souto; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThe plate assembly process in the analyzed company has a stipulated goal of 2000 plates per day, and 10% of this production has failures, compromising the management's defined goals. Given this issue, the present study aims to implement an intelligent system for identifying and correcting failures in the board assembly process, based on Business Intelligence (BI), aligned with Industry 4.0 practices. The methodology included Process Mapping and Requirements Analysis for the Implementation of the Integrated System. The system enabled faster and more effective communication with other production process systems, ensuring accurate information for performance optimization and data security. The implementation of this intelligent failure detection system represented a significant step towards Industry 4.0 evolution.Item DESENVOLVIMENTO DE SISTEMA DE CONTROLE DE DRONES PARA ENTREGA DE PRODUTOS COM MICROCONTROLADORES(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2024) ALENCAR, David Barbosa de; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis chapter discusses the development of a control system for drones aimed at product delivery, using microcontrollers as the technological base. The goal is to improve logistics processes, reducing delivery time and optimizing operations in hard-to-reach areas. The proposed solution is based on programming microcontrollers for flight control and automated navigation. The objective was to create a technological solution that facilitates selective collection and promotes environmental awareness. The methodology included analyzing user needs, designing the interface, and implementing the application. The results indicated that the tool can significantly contribute to reverse logistics and proper waste disposal.Item Different Deterministic Optimization Methods for Economic Load Dispatch, Switching Off Less Efficient Generators(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2017) LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; CAMPOS, Paola SoutoThe Economic Load Dispatch (ELD) is one of the most important optimization and operational decision tasks in power systems. This study compares various deterministic mathematical optimization methods, including Lambda Iteration, Newton’s Method, and Quadratic Programming, to solve the ELD problem. The analysis considers both the traditional methodology and a proposed approach that includes turning off less efficient generators to reduce costs and improve system efficiency.Item Probabilidade e Estatística Aplicada a Software(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique ReisThis study proposes to analyze the use of didactic software by teachers and students as a pedagogical support tool in teaching and learning, aiming to alleviate the difficulties in learning descriptive statistics. The research was conducted at the Instituto Federal Ifam, in Manaus-AM, employing a quantitative method, questionnaires, direct observation, and the Minitab software. The results show that teachers in the mathematical sciences field often do not continuously use didactic software, which affects students' learning. The study highlights the importance of using computer labs and didactic tools to enhance statistics education.Item Transformações Digitais e Indústria 4.0 no Polo Industrial de Manaus: Desafios e Inovações(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2025) GUIMARÃES, Gil Eduardo; MARINELLI FILHO, Nelson; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; NASCIMENTO, Manoel Henrique ReisIndustry 4.0 introduces a significant transformation in the production sector, integrating technologies such as IoT, artificial intelligence, and big data to create intelligent and flexible operations. This study investigates the challenges and opportunities of implementing these technologies in the Manaus Industrial Hub (PIM), considering factors such as infrastructure, organizational competencies, and cultural resistance. The research proposes a strategic roadmap divided into three phases for the adoption of these technologies, addressing training, automation, and artificial intelligence implementation. However, many electronic meter manufacturing companies lack the necessary technologies to effectively implement this methodology. This study proposes the development of an Intelligent Lean Manufacturing System based on the requirements of a Manufacturing Execution System (MES), utilizing technologies such as Artificial Intelligence, the Internet of Things, and Embedded Systems. This study proposes the application of fuzzy logic to optimize the issuance of invoices, a critical process that faces challenges such as manual errors, delays, and high costs. A fuzzy model was developed that identifies key variables, applies inference rules, and tests the solution in a real environment with operational data. The results indicate a significant reduction in errors and processing times, in addition to gains in tax compliance and customer satisfaction.Item Application of Ergonomic Work Analysis in Automotive Industry Processes Using Computational Intelligence for Decision Making(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) PINTO, Leandro Soares; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral.; LEITE, Jandecy CabralErgonomics has proven to be increasingly important for industrial processes worldwide. The evolution of machinery and equipment has caused several occupational health disorders at work. Therefore, it is extremely important to conduct a comprehensive reading of workstations and use ergonomic analysis tools. The objective of this article is to apply the technological resources of fuzzy logic to the results found in the Ergonomic Work Analysis (AET) in seven workstations in the automotive industry of the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). The applied methodology is based on the use of the Suzanne Rodgers ergonomic tool and mathematical models characterized by Fuzzy Inference for decision-making on various disorders that occur with workers' health. The results found in the "Suzanne Rodgers" ergonomic tool applied to the movement of upper and lower limbs, together with the application of Fuzzy Logic, showed that the linguistic variables by colors and the legend that classifies ergonomic risks are useful for comparison and discussion of the importance of ergonomic processes for the benefit of the worker in the automotive industry.Item System for Analysis, Simulation and Implementation of Improvements in the Air Conditioning Manufacturing Process(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022) CASTRO, Diego Alexandre de Lima LEITE, Jandecy Cabral; LEITE, Jandecy CabralThis study presents proposals for improvements in an air conditioner assembly line at a factory in the Manaus Industrial Hub. The research details the production process and evaluates factors hindering production, aiming to increase capacity, quality, efficiency, and waste reduction. Company documentary records and simulation tools (Plant Simulation) were used to identify bottlenecks and propose solutions. The new implemented layout provided a sustainable competitive advantage, improved employee training, and access to new automation technologies.
