    Aplicação da lógica fuzzy na definição da resistência à compressão de caixas de papéis ondulados

    The study presents the application of fuzzy logic in classifying the compression resistance of corrugated cardboard boxes. The research aims to provide a quick and accurate classification of box strength (inadequate, good, adequate) using simulations based on essential parameters such as the McKee formula and static stacking. The project's innovation lies in applying fuzzy logic to interpret imprecise data, optimizing the packaging development process and reducing logistical costs.

    Aplicação de ferramentas da gestão da qualidade para redução de scrap em uma indústria de caixa eletrônico no Polo Industrial de Manaus

    This study presents the application of quality management tools, such as DMAIC and Lean Six Sigma, to reduce the scrap rate in an ATM manufacturing industry in the Manaus Industrial Pole. The main objective was to identify the key factors contributing to scrap generation and implement improvements that would optimize production processes and reduce waste. The research involved a detailed mapping of the production process, identification of root causes of the problems, and the proposal of corrective actions. The results showed a significant reduction in scrap, contributing to the company's competitiveness.

    This chapter presents the implementation of the 5S program in a confectionery located in Manaus-AM, aiming to improve the organization, cleanliness, and efficiency of the work environment. Using quality tools such as the PDCA cycle and the 5W2H action plan, the study proposes a management model that seeks to reduce costs and increase productivity. The application of 5S proved to be effective in optimizing space and improving employee performance, resulting in a more organized and productive work environment.

    Gestão de estoque como vantagem competitiva em uma confeitaria na cidade de Manaus-AM

    This chapter addresses inventory management in a confectionery located in Manaus-AM, highlighting the importance of proper planning to minimize costs and maximize profits. The research used the BCG Matrix and Production Planning and Control (PPC) to evaluate the confectionery's product portfolio and implement management techniques that ensure efficiency in inventory management, avoiding waste and material shortages. As a result, the confectionery is expected to gain a competitive advantage, staying ahead of competitors and ensuring final customer satisfaction.

    Análise ergonômica do trabalho (AET) em linha de inserção manual de produção industrial no segmento eletroeletrônico

    This study presents an Ergonomic Work Analysis (EWA) applied to a manual insertion production line in the electronics manufacturing sector. The main objective was to identify and implement ergonomic improvements to optimize working conditions and, consequently, increase productivity and worker well-being. The research involved the collection of anthropometric data, analysis of repetitive movements and postures adopted by workers, and the implementation of ergonomic improvements. As a result, the company observed a significant reduction in occupational diseases, absenteeism, and an increase in productivity and quality indicators.

    This study proposes a logistics management model for the supply chain in the banking automation sector of a company located in the Industrial Hub of Manaus (PIM). The research addresses the logistical challenges faced by the company due to its geographical location and the need to reduce costs and increase operational efficiency. The proposed model uses lean manufacturing principles and aims to optimize the supply chain, ensuring a continuous flow of inputs and minimizing freight and inventory costs. The implementation of this model aims to provide greater competitiveness to the company, adapting it to the demands of the global market.

    This study presents the application of Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC methodologies to reduce sugar loss in the production process of a soft drink company belonging to Grupo Simões. The research focuses on the analysis and optimization of syrup manufacturing and beverage bottling processes, aiming to reduce sugar waste, which directly impacts production costs. By implementing these methodologies, the company was able to identify the root causes of the losses and propose solutions to significantly reduce operational inefficiencies, improving the quality and competitiveness of the final product.

    Uso da ferramenta DMAIC: alto índice de falhas no processo de parafusamento de heat sink

    This study explores the application of the DMAIC tool to address high incidence of failures in the heat sink screwing process at a company in the Industrial Hub of Manaus. The DMAIC methodology, combined with tools such as the Ishikawa diagram and statistical control, was used to identify root causes of the problem and implement process improvements. The study demonstrated that adopting the methodology resulted in a significant reduction in failures and associated financial losses, improving operational efficiency and product quality.

    Ferramenta de lógica fuzzy aplicada na análise ergonômica de trabalho na indústria automobilística para tomada de decisão

    This study proposes the application of a fuzzy logic tool for ergonomic work analysis in an automotive industry, focusing on decision-making. The methodology aims to improve working conditions and reduce the risk of occupational injuries by applying artificial intelligence techniques to evaluate ergonomic factors at workstations. The developed fuzzy system considers variables such as effort level, effort time, and the number of efforts per minute, providing a detailed analysis that helps identify risks and implement ergonomic improvements.

    This study investigates the application of the Six Sigma methodology and the DMAIC method to reduce the aluminum can loss rate in a beverage industry, Latax Refrigerantes Ltda. The research was motivated by the need to minimize waste and optimize production processes in a sector of high economic and social relevance. By utilizing Six Sigma and DMAIC tools, the study identifies the main causes of losses and implements corrective actions, resulting in a significant reduction in operational costs and improvement in production efficiency. The study provides a replicable model for other industries in the sector seeking to increase competitiveness and sustainability.
