MAPEAMENTO DO FLUXO DE VALOR DE UM PROCESSO PRODUTIVO DE PLACAS ELETRÔNICAS COM USO DA LÓGICA DIFUSA
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2018) ARAÚJO, Caio César Luan Silva; AZEVEDO, Manoel S. Santos; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
Global competition in the electronics industry has required the optimization of production processes to maintain competitiveness. This study proposes the use of Value Stream Mapping (VSM) combined with Fuzzy Logic to identify and eliminate waste in the production of printed circuit boards at a company in the Manaus Industrial Pole (PIM). VSM allowed mapping the current state of the process, identifying bottlenecks, and designing a future state with improvements. Fuzzy Logic aided in the precise analysis of data, resulting in cost reduction, fewer defects, and optimized production time.

Aplicação de Manufatura Enxuta em uma Montadora de Aparelhos Eletroeletrônicos: Estudo de Caso e Impactos na Produtividade
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2017) SILVA, Cristiano Magalhães da; SOUZA, José Antônio da Silva
This study addresses the application of Lean Manufacturing philosophy in an electro-electronic appliances assembly plant, aiming to identify and reduce waste in the production process. Tools such as value stream mapping, work cells, Kanban system, and lean internal logistics were employed. The results showed a 37% productivity increase in 2014 and 28% in 2015, along with a reduction in operational costs above 10%. The work emphasizes the importance of standardization, visual management, and employee engagement for sustaining the achieved gains.

Modelo de Inovação no Processo do Desenvolvimento de Novos Produtos
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2016) TAKITA, Antonio Mitsumasa Vieira; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
This work is originated from the development of production of a fuel pump process to meet the needs of the two largest manufacturers of two-wheel segment in Brazil. The aim was to propose a set of procedures to operationalize the production of these pumps and allow a planned assembly, without rework or additional adjustments to the production line that is through lean production. These procedures were developed with the support of the value innovation model, which enabled the introduction of new products in a systemic way, with emphasis on quality. Following this line, the work focuses on the development of suppliers, having priority in those located in the Industrial Pole of Manaus. As a result we obtained the development of new suppliers which have been able to absorb new technologies in the manufacture of components with quality in this nationalization of the fuel pump, with cost and duration that met the requirements of the company and of the two automakers that integrate these components in lean production.

Modelo Fuzzy para Avaliar o Nível do Lean Manufacturing em uma Indústria Metalúrgica de Pequeno Porte
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2019) SILVA, Ana Lúcia Fernandes da; LEITE, Jandecy Cabral
This research aims to specify a model of Lean Manufacturing level assessment based on fuzzy inference. The adopted model was based on computational simulation using fuzzy logic. Three of the seven major production wastes were analyzed: overproduction, inventory in process, and transportation. The studied company presented high levels of overproduction, process inventories, and a high internal transport index. Results indicated that the company is not Lean. The proposed model can be adjusted for other organizations, allowing new input and output variables. A future suggestion for the research is the inclusion of waiting time as a waste factor.

A Comunicação entre os Setores de uma Empresa como Principal Ferramenta da Qualidade na Produção Enxuta
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2020) BASTOS, Riomar Martins; MAGALHÃES, Edilson Marques
The need to improve service to end customers and suppliers at a multinational in the Industrial Pole of Manaus, due to the low performance of its main KPI (Key Performance Indicator) OTD (On Time Delivery), which fluctuated at 56%, motivated this work. The objective was to raise this index to 92%. The methodology applied was centered on the philosophy of lean production and quality tools, with a survey of the main problems that negatively impacted the main KPI. The results pointed to communication between sectors as the main problem, and with the support of the board and the application of continuous improvement, it was possible to raise the KPI OTD to 92%, currently achieving a delivery rate of 99%.

Melhoria no Processo Produtivo de Máquinas Dispensadoras de Cédulas Usando Princípios de Mentalidade Enxuta e Reengenharia de Processos
(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) SANTOS, Rodolfo Marinho dos; CARVAJAL, Tirso Lorenzo Reis
For the current globalized economy, the survival of organizations depends on their ability and flexibility to innovate and make continuous improvements in their processes. This study presents a proposal for improving the production process of banknote dispensing machines using Lean Thinking principles and Process Reengineering. The method was developed by combining features from existing Lean Thinking methodologies and solutions from Process Reengineering. When applied in a company in Manaus, the method resulted in improvements in information processing speed, reduced workforce requirements, and increased value-adding time.
