The research highlights the importance of effective risk management to ensure the delivery of innovative projects within planned timelines and costs.Item Análise do inventário de emissões de gases do efeito estufa em uma indústria de beneficiamento de papel fotográfico na cidade de Manaus(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022-01-25) MAGALHÃES, Edfran da Cruz; SILVA, Simone da; http://lattes.cnpq.br/7260488247107062In the Manaus Industrial Complex (PIM), the photographic paper processing industry, classified as a Chemical Industry, has low representation. This photographic industry presents environmental impacts in its production, maintenance and administrative support processes, including operations that only benefit already emulsified photographic papers, transforming them into sizes and formats suitable for printing laboratories. This dissertation investigates Greenhouse Gas (GHG) emissions in scope 1 (direct emissions) and scope 2 (indirect emissions), using the Brazilian GHG Protocol Program (PBGHGP) protocol. This protocol made it possible to inventory data and estimate total GHG emissions in a PIM photo paper processing industry, considering the operations under its operational control. The combination of methodological strategies aimed to provide a comprehensive analysis of the environmental issue addressed. The results identified that the main source of GHG emissions comes from the refrigeration system, specifically through the consumption of R410A refrigerant gas. It was found that the control and management of these emissions are viable, as the industry has an environmental management system in place, capable of mitigating the environmental impact caused by GHG emissions, thus fulfilling its social role in a responsible manner.Item Análise do manejo dos resíduos de serviço de saúde: um estudo de caso de um hospital universitário de Manaus/AM(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2022-03) SILVA, Maria do Carmo Costa; CAMPOS, Paola SoutoThis work addresses the analysis of health service waste management and treatment at the Getúlio Vargas University Hospital in Manaus/AM. The study was motivated by the need to adapt the Health Service Waste Management Plan (PGRSS) according to Anvisa Resolution 222/2018, aiming to reduce negative impacts on human health and the environment. The main objective was to identify and implement ergonomic improvements to optimize working conditions and, consequently, increase productivity and worker well-being. The research involved the collection of anthropometric data, analysis of repetitive movements and postures adopted by workers, and the implementation of ergonomic improvements. The research resulted in the development of a manual to guide teachers in implementing environmental activities and projects, based on the specific characteristics of each school. The visits carried out in 13 schools allowed the analysis of the profile of each institution, facilitating the creation of personalized EA application strategies. The research covers the system's development, testing, and validation, highlighting its importance for legal and scientific metrology in the region.Item Modelo de compostagem com a reutilização de resíduos orgânicos em escola rural(Instituto de Tecnologia e Educação Galileo da Amazônia, 2021-11-10) SIMÕES, Natália Cristina Bezerra de Alencar; ALENCAR, David Barbosa deThe booklet "Composting model with the reuse of organic waste in rural schools" is an educational guide on composting and the implementation of school gardens, aiming at the sustainable reuse of organic waste. The introduction addresses the increase in the production of organic waste and the importance of its correct management to avoid sanitary problems. He explains that half of the daily waste produced by Brazilians is of organic origin, which can be transformed into fertilizer. The booklet describes three types of composters: natural aeration (waste arranged in windrows), forced aeration (use of perforated tubes and mechanical pumping) and biological reactors (closed systems). It also highlights the importance of school gardens to improve student nutrition and generate resources for schools. Types of vegetable gardens include traditional, domestic, mini garden, organic and hanging. Humus, resulting from the decomposition of organic matter, is presented as an excellent fertilizer. The booklet details the composting process in three phases: mesophilic (rapid initial phase), thermophilic (temperature reduction and elimination of pathogens) and maturation (humification and mineralization). Includes a word search activity to reinforce learning of terms related to composting. In short, the booklet promotes sustainability and environmental education through composting and school gardens.
