Educação Ambiental no Currículo do Curso de Licenciatura Intercultural Indígena do Instituto Insikiran/UFRR
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2017) SANTOS, Larisse Livramento dos; ALVES, Cláudio Nahum
The research analyzed how Environmental Education (EE) is integrated into the curriculum of the Indigenous Intercultural Licentiate course at Insikiran Institute/UFRR, through the analysis of the Political Pedagogical Project (PPP) and the Course Conclusion Works (TCC) produced between 2008 and 2014. The qualitative study identified that EE is present as an intercultural element, with a transdisciplinary and holistic approach, focused on indigenous culture and scientific development. Advances in the inclusion of EE in the curriculum were observed, but challenges remain, such as the lack of academic productions on sustainability and technology. The interculturality of the students fosters the exchange of knowledge, transforming empirical knowledge into scientific knowledge. It is concluded that there is a need for greater integration of EE into the curriculum, with a focus on public policies and university management.

Estudo para Reutilização de Resíduos Sólidos Secos Gerados em Escolas Públicas no Município de Santarém
(Instituto de Tecnologia, 2019) NEVES, Daniela Cristina Pantoja; SOUZA, José Antônio da Silva
The consumerist profile of the world population through industrialized products results in the growth of waste from its packaging. Therefore, environmental degradation becomes a fact that already suffers significant consequences in the global sphere, thus enhancing discussions with the aforementioned issue so that solutions to minimize the problem are idealized and effective. Thus, this study proposes the reuse of Dry Solid Residues (RSS) generated in state public schools of the municipality of Santarém (PA). The research was developed at the two largest public schools in the state of Pará, Brazil. The RSS was collected, related, quantified and weighed for one week, so that the annual estimate of unit, type, mass, gravimetric composition was to be used as a parameter for its reuse. As a result, it was verified the generation of 47 different items of RSS, with 79% packaging related to foodstuffs. The total mass was approximately half a ton with 498.167 kg / year. Regarding the type of RSS, aluminum is shown with 21.159 kg / year, plastic with 468.146 kg / year and glass with 8.862 kg / year. The gravimetric composition was around 4.25% aluminum, 93.97% plastic and 1.78% glass. The generated RSSs have potential for reuse in both teaching materials and utensils for use in school.

(Universidade Federal do Pará, 2017) SILENDER, Valdemar; ALVES, Cláudio Nahum
The environmental issue presents itself as one of the great challenges of all humanity, also for Higher Education Institutions. The objective of this study is to verify how the environment, sustainable development and ecological ethics of care are being studied in the Lutheran University Center of Manaus, based on the results, adopt institutional measures to maintain or modify current teaching strategies and practices on these subjects. A survey was carried out with 244 academics from the Institute's 11 undergraduate courses, registered in 2016. It was verified that more than 80% answered that subjects such as environment and sustainable development are extremely important for humanity and all professionals, regardless of their area of expertise, should have ethical posture and attitudes towards the environment. However, only 50% see the extreme importance of these topics being worked on in all courses of the Institution. When asked if the research subjects receive due attention in the training of CEULM / ULBRA professionals, only 23.7% gave maximum marks, that is, the absolute majority understands that the Institution does not give due attention to these subjects. Thus, the research reveals that the Institution needs to work more and better on these subjects, both in the Pedagogical Projects of the Courses (PPCs) and in the subjects of the Basic Cycle of General Education, as well as, it needs to offer more experiences in this area through projects, as happened with the Ecological House.

Environmental management is a continuous and adaptive process through which an organization determines its objectives, goals, and strategies related to environmental protection and the safety of internal employees, customers, and the community. This work aims to raise awareness based on the relationship of environmental responsibility to minimize organizational impacts on the lives of employees in a food industry company. The study examined the perception of employees of a sushi chain about their social responsibility in the activities they perform, conducting a bibliographic survey, visits to research sites, application of questionnaires, and lectures. The results revealed that although there is a certain awareness of the negative impacts caused by solid and liquid waste, there is a gap between being aware of the problem and being sensitized to promote behavioral changes aiming at higher environmental quality and company profitability.

(Instituto de Ciências Exatas e Naturais, 2020) OLIVEIRA, Isaac Pereira; BRASIL, Davi do Socorro Barros
The present work discusses the contributions of Environmental Psychology to the discussion of environmental problems today, based on a literature review. It is understood that the core of the environmental problems experienced is human behavior. Therefore, the importance of the role of psychology in partnership with environmental education is highlighted in order to present population awareness strategies and environmental behavior modification. The literature review carried out in this work happened with the search from the CAPES journals platform of articles published in the last 20 years with the descriptors "Environmental Psychology" and "Environmental Problems". 126 articles were found, in which 12 articles were selected to compose the analysis. The articles discussed dealt with topics such as permaculture, pro-environmental behavior, and environmental perception. In addition, the discussions were guided by the established analysis criteria: 1) relevance of the study; 2) focus on behavioral and psychological aspects involved in socio-environmental problems; 3) relationship between psychology and environmental education; 4) discussions about the possibility of environmental psychology interventions. From this, it was possible to understand the main factors that influence environmental behavior from the perspective of Environmental Psychology.

The present research aimed to implement an Organic School Garden using Pet Bottles, as a teaching tool in Environmental Education with children aged 3 to 5 years at the Municipal Nursery Sandra Braga in the municipality of Cacau Piréra in the State of Amazonas. To reach the objective, a meeting was held with the parents / guardians of 30 children from the 2nd period of early childhood education in the age group of 3 to 5 years old of the morning and afternoon shift who accepted the invitation of the school management. The objective of the project was exposed, the TCLE was given and explained and questionnaire A was also given to them, containing two questions about their children's food preferences and the importance of the school garden. Afterwards, topics related to fertilizing the soil, growing vegetables and the importance of recycling PET bottles were discussed with the school community. Established the location for the implantation of the vegetable garden according to the availability of sun, water, terrain conditions and protection from strong and cold winds, being implemented in a rectangular area, containing 4 beds, each bed measuring 1.00 meters in length and 40 centimeters in length. width and spacing from 50 cm to a bed and 56 PET bottles were used that were made by the children and by the parents / guardians. The shade was installed over the garden to avoid over-exposure of vegetables to the sun and rain. The groups of children, under the coordination of the daycare center teachers and coordinators, continued to plant lettuce, cabbage, chives and chicory seedlings and seedlings. During this action, questions related to the physical, chemical and biological aspects, and verification of the general state of the soil found in the area of the beds were raised, with the need to use organic matter (compost and manure) to improve the quality of the vegetables. In the classroom, the dates and times for watering the beds were planned, and distributed among groups of children. After planting, the vegetables were harvested, prepared and served to the children at lunch. After the planting activity, the questionnaire B was given to the teachers of the participating classes, which listed the activities that the children liked most and what they did not like regarding the care of the vegetable garden. The activities resulted in the children's motivation contributing to their school performance and awareness of the environment.
